About this place Hotel Suites Malena

Hotel Suites Malena is a small mainstream hotel on Boulevard Las Dunas in the Playa Ensenada area of Ensenada, Baja California. It is listed as gay-friendly, not as a gay venue, and is well rated (4.5 on Google from about 130 reviews). The area is residential and quieter than the downtown malecón, which is a short drive away. Ensenada works as a base for day trips to the Valle de Guadalupe wineries, about 30 to 40 minutes north, and for the La Bufadora blowhole to the south. A car is useful; check the hotel's site for parking and suite layouts.

Overall, the room was clean. They were attentive upon our arrival, gave clear instructions, and were friendly and patient because we had a slight issue with the payment. The spaces were spacious, more like a hotel, as we had a bedroom, living room, and kitchen.
