Hotel Cortez

If your intention is to relax, this is not the hotel for you. It's very noisy from 6 am, the rooms are very dark, and the beds are very hard. Even so, we don't usually complain; we go to Ensenada to relax every three months and we love its food. But this time we chose a bad hotel with a manager who has absolutely no professional ethics and seems to have been put in that position as a last resort. We went out to have fun at a bar today, and this manager called to say that someone reported our room smelled of cigarettes. My husband explained that we had been out and maybe our clothes had absorbed the smell, and he responded very arrogantly and almost threatened my husband. I called to complain about the way he spoke to him, and he answered very rudely. He ruined our vacation. I don't recommend this hotel. We usually stay at the CID, which has a very good location and all the staff are very polite.

Very dark room, lots of noise from 6 am and we still didn't complain. The last straw was when we went out to have fun and today, Sunday, the manager called with a very arrogant and rude attitude to tell us that he received a report that our room smelled like cigarettes! My husband explained that we went out and maybe our clothes got the smell, and he rudely asked where he smoked. I was there to tell him that I found the way he spoke to me distasteful, and he answered very rudely as if we were schoolchildren. Horrible experience, it ruined our days off. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Excellent customer service, very good and friendly both in person and on the phone. Clean and comfortable rooms. The bed was slightly firm, but comfortable, especially with the pillows. We requested a single room for two people, and it was more than enough. Very spacious parking. 10/10, totally recommend this hotel. If I have the opportunity to come back, I would definitely stay here again on my vacation!

An excellent hotel located on the main street, where you'll find various shops nearby offering coffee, pastries, cakes, a variety of food, handicrafts, etc. The rooms are very clean, large, and comfortable, with ample parking. The staff is attentive and helpful, and the prices are affordable. Always reliable and highly recommended.
