Everything was very clean and beautiful. I gave the rooms four stars because it's not a new hotel, but it's in perfect condition, everything is very well maintained. I really liked it, I recommend it, and I would return.

I'm giving this hotel 4 stars because, overall, I got what I paid for. The hotel was clean, the location was excellent, and the staff were polite, though not especially warm or welcoming. The rooms are on the smaller side. During our stay, the shower drain became backed up, but maintenance fixed the issue the same day. We also asked to borrow bowls so we could eat in our room, and the staff accommodated the request without any problem. The main drawback was the restaurant, which left a lot to be desired and was easily the weakest part of the experience. Overall, I probably would not choose to stay here again unless I was in a pich. That said, the hotel delivers what you would expect for the price point. While it didn't exceed expectations, I felt that the value was commensurate with the cost.

Good location, clean and with adequate facilities, the staff is very friendly.

Excellent service and location, friendly and attentive staff, especially Isaac who guided us in everything we needed. Quiet and spacious room, cleaning and change of bed linen and towels every day. Large and very comfortable bed. Restaurants, bars, cafes and small markets nearby. Easy access to the metro, bus and 3 blocks from the Angel of Independence, and a 30-minute walk from Chapultepec Park.

We were victims of a theft in our room on the last day of our stay. After spending the day out, we returned to our room and discovered that $300 USD in cash was missing from my and my husband's belongings. What was most suspicious was that they didn't take all the money or other valuables, leading us to believe that whoever did it wanted to avoid us noticing immediately. When we reported it to the front desk, the initial reaction was to tell us that the hotel "wasn't responsible" and that we should have used the safe, showing very little concern for the seriousness of the incident. Investigating on our own, we discovered a serious security issue: our balcony on the 12th floor was accessible from an adjacent building under construction, making it possible for someone to easily enter the room. We felt extremely unsafe upon realizing this. Even the maintenance staff couldn't find the key to lock the balcony, so we demanded to be moved to another room immediately. We also suspect the housekeeping staff because of the targeted nature of the theft and because it occurred on the very last day of our stay. Our passports were found with the money, clearly indicating we were tourists. The most disappointing aspect was the attitude of the manager, Rodolfo, who completely downplayed the situation and defended the staff before conducting any serious investigation. We never felt any genuine concern for our safety or empathy for what had happened. In addition to the stolen money, we had to cancel bank cards for security reasons and practically couldn't sleep, worried that someone might break into our room while we slept. We have traveled to many countries and have never experienced anything like this. We warn future guests to exercise extreme caution because we do not consider this place safe and feel the management has acted very irresponsibly.

Staff was unfriendly. Plumbing in room was poor, leaking and toilet did not flush properly. Sits in an area without nice shopping and food choices. Main historical sites are not within walking distance

We Were Robbed Inside Our Hotel Room This was one of the most disturbing and disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. On the last day of our stay, after spending the entire day exploring the city, we returned to our room to get cash to exchange from USD to Mexican pesos. While counting the money, we discovered that $200 USD was missing from my belongings and $100 USD from my spouse’s belongings. Nothing else appeared disturbed, which immediately made the situation even more suspicious and concerning. We reported the incident to the front desk immediately. Their first reaction was not concern, empathy, or urgency — instead, they immediately stated that they were “not responsible” and that we “should have used the safe.” This dismissive and careless response was shocking considering we had just reported a theft inside their property. We then investigated the situation ourselves and discovered a major security concern: our balcony on the 12th floor was directly accessible from an adjacent building under construction. It appeared entirely possible for someone to jump into our balcony and enter the room. Since this is something no reasonable guest would expect at a hotel, we had never thought the balcony door needed to remain locked at all times. We contacted the front desk again and expressed that we felt extremely unsafe and vulnerable. When the maintenance worker arrived, he brought what appeared to be hundreds of keys and was unable to find the correct key to lock the balcony door. At that point, our sense of insecurity became even worse. We requested to be moved immediately to another room without a balcony and with secured windows, which the hotel finally did. We also strongly suspected the cleaning staff because: - only part of the cash was taken, - other belongings were left untouched, - the theft happened specifically on our last day, - and our passports were next to the cash, making it obvious we were tourists. The thieves clearly searched through our personal belongings. Additional debit and credit cards stored for emergencies were also exposed, forcing us to cancel multiple cards out of fear of fraud or identity theft. The following morning, before checkout, we explained the situation to the manager, Rodolfo. Unfortunately, his handling of the situation was deeply disappointing and lacked any sense of responsibility or concern for guest safety. His response was essentially: - the cleaning staff had “worked there for years,” - they supposedly did have the balcony key but the night handyman “couldn’t find it,” - the hotel was not responsible for belongings outside the safe, - and they would not issue any refund. To be clear, we never even requested a refund. What we expected was professionalism, accountability, and genuine concern regarding an extremely serious security incident. What disturbed us the most was not only the theft itself, but the terrifying realization that someone from the street or adjacent construction area could potentially access our room while we were sleeping. We barely slept that night thinking about how unsafe the situation truly was. We are approximately 50% convinced the theft could have been committed from someone accessing the room through the adjacent construction building, and 50% suspicious of internal staff involvement due to how selective and calculated the theft appeared to be. I also had a work laptop inside the room worth approximately $2,000 USD which could not fit inside the safe. Had that been stolen, it would have caused major professional and financial consequences. We have traveled to many countries around the world and have never experienced anything remotely close to this situation. We are extremely disappointed by both the apparent security failures and the hotel management’s careless handling of such a serious issue. We strongly encourage future guests to exercise extreme caution if staying at this property because we did not feel safe there, and management showed little to no concern about the seriousness of the incident.
