Ocean Park Beach

Ocean Park Beach is San Juan's mellower gay beach, a wide stretch of golden sand east of Condado in the residential Ocean Park neighborhood. The gay-frequented pocket gathers near the end of Calle Santa Ana, close to guesthouses like Numero Uno and Coqui del Mar. Compared with the busier Condado gay beach, Ocean Park draws a more local, laid-back daytime crowd, and its calmer eastern end, long nicknamed 'El Ultimo Trolley', has a cruisier reputation. Steady trade winds make it popular for kitesurfing, and a handful of beach bars and guesthouses sit within easy reach.
