This inn was so wonderful. We were always comfortable and welcomed with genuine hospitality. It is a historic village with good areas to walk. Our breakfasts were delicious and filling. And good coffee!

This was a treasure to find such a perfect place to stay a few days in a historic little village. The awesome couple who runs the Inn have a passion for making people feel comfortable with the quality of care in going beyond for each guest, food and rooms they provide! They will honor food allergies if they are aware of them as I learned and were extra careful for me in the food prep. The living area with the fireplace and opportunity for beverages and visiting was exactly what we needed! In the morning, the breakfast was divine and the coffee is locally roasted in St.Louis and is tasty as well! I would highly recommend this jewel of a Bed and Breakfast if you have a chance to go. Elsah has its own history and charm with a restaurant and shop with local art and fair trade products from all over the world.

This Charming little bed and breakfast tucked away in a small 2 Street town was fabulous!! My friends and I had tons of fun. There were fresh warm cookies waiting for us when we checked in, and the breakfast every morning was phenomenal!! The owners were so hospitable, friendly, and lovely! They made our stay great! My friends and I will stay there every time we go to Elsa, which will now be annually, because we had such a great experience here!

My sister and a friend of ours just recently stayed here for an event in a nearby town. This was the best, coziest, most hospitable bed and breakfast I've ever been to. I seriously felt like I was home there. The new owners, Megan and Calvin, are doing a fantastic job. The breakfast we had was phenomenal. (I've dreams of rhe breakfast bites!) If you're ever planning to stay the night near Grafton, Elsah is a very short drive away, please do consider staying at The Green Tree Inn

We recently stayed at this charming Bed and Breakfast, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, Megan greeted us with warm hospitality and a genuine smile. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and was very cozy. Both mornings, we rose to a delicious homemade breakfast with fresh ingredients and locally roasted coffee—truly the best way to start the day. The location was perfect, close to local attractions but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, offering great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming getaway. Five stars all the way!
