Black Gay Pride Atlanta 2026
About This Event
Atlanta Black Pride is the largest Black gay Pride in the United States — a Labor Day weekend institution that turns Atlanta, the cultural capital of the Black South, into the centre of Black queer America for a few days every year. In 2026 it falls across the long weekend of roughly 2–7 September.
Unlike a city Pride, this is not built around a parade. It is a weekend of parties, day parties, pool parties and host-hotel programming, drawing tens of thousands of people from across the country — a mix of nightlife, community events, health and wellness programming and culture that has run for decades. The events spread across Atlanta's hotels and clubs rather than one festival ground.
A note for 2026: the organising landscape has been in flux, with more than one group producing Black-Pride-branded programming this year, so there is not a single official schedule — check the specific promoters and the events you want directly, and confirm dates and venues before you book.
Practical notes: Atlanta in early September is warm and humid. The city runs on cars and rideshare more than transit, so budget for getting between venues, and stay near the host hotels if you can. Book early — Labor Day weekend is peak, and Black Pride fills the city.
