Thumbs up on Edgewood is the GOAT. I have been to a couple other Thumbs up and they just don't have the same atmosphere or vibe. The service at the Edgewood location is top notch. They take care of you from the moment you enter the door to the moment you exit it. Food is delicious, hot, and consistent. The French toast is a stunner! The pancakes hit the spot! Don't even get me started on their biscuits and gravy!

Everything about this place is amazing. The taste, the portion size, and most important, the customer service. Shout out to our waitress Yolanda and also to James who made our breakfast the best experience it could be. Sweet people. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. Definition of southern hospitality. You walk in unassuming and see in for a treat. I can't say enough and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food and needed take home plates. Will definitely visit next time we are in area and spread the word. I had the double dip French toast! Yum!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Highly Recommend! I visited Thumbs Up Restaurant on Sunday morning, and it was definitely worth the wait! There was about a 15-minute wait, but the check-in process was easy. I signed in, and they texted my phone as soon as a table was available. There were a lot of people waiting, which was the first sign the food was going to be good! The restaurant is small, but that’s pretty typical for Atlanta, and it gives the place a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Ultimate Seaside Breakfast, which came with a perfectly crispy piece of catfish, a bowl of shrimp and grits, and their Sassy Scrambled Eggs loaded with onions, herbs, and salmon. I’m usually not a salmon person, but I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone, and I’m so glad I did! The eggs were packed with flavor, and every single bite of my meal was delicious. I literally cleaned my plate! Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. 10 out of 10—I definitely recommend Thumbs Up Restaurant, and I’ll be back!
