Very disappointed for the price I paid. I booked two queen beds with city view. Non smoking. Paid almost 500 Canadian. The bed are not true queen sized which made sleeping arrangements very difficult with three adults and one child. Room service ( making beds, refreshing towels) isn't a thing here unless you stay 3 nights in a row. The ac in the room was broken so after the first time we had to switch rooms. On top of the ac being broken you're only allowed to have it max temp 75 and min temp 65 ( I've never had a hotel room where I was restricted to climate change). I've also found hair in my bed. It may be others cup of tea of a place to stay, but I personally will never be back at this hotel nor will I recommend it to anyone. I did book through a third party site so they couldn't help with upgrading me even though I was willing to pay. I was told to contact the third party website which I did and they couldn't get ahold of the hotel directly to help either.

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday night. We were just passing through Bangor for a night and stopped in. I thought there were a nice variety of machines and we even had a bit of luck. However, Guest Services was not a pleasant experience. We wanted to get Players Cards and were hoping for a little welcome free play. The borderline unpleasant clerk said the only thing you get is a $10 bonus, but only if you download the app. I did and I got NOTHING. I'm going to be deleting the app. Also, the music was loud and I like loud music but this was too much. I don't think we'll be returning.

While the hotel was clean and in a convenient location, our overall experience was disappointing enough that we would not stay here again. There did not seem to be enough staff available at check-in, although extending our stay by two additional days due to unexpected work requirements was relatively easy. Unfortunately, several issues during our stay outweighed that convenience. The air conditioning in our room never worked properly. Maintenance came out and fixed it once, but it still could not keep up, and the room became uncomfortably warm every night. Several other members of our group experienced similar issues with their rooms and also had to request repairs. The most frustrating part of our stay occurred at the end of our trip. Due to changing work schedules, we booked an additional night even though we did not plan to sleep there. My husband was originally scheduled to leave before me, so I had not added him to the reservation. When his flight was delayed, I called the hotel to have him added to the room. Unfortunately, the front desk was not answering, although I was able to speak with a reservations representative who was aware of the situation and my attempt to add him to the reservation. I had not officially checked out of the room when I left for my flight, and my husband went to the front desk simply needing a replacement key. He was told that despite my calls and the fact that the room was still actively rented in my name, I had to be physically present with my ID in order for him to receive access. While I understand security policies are important, there appeared to be no effort made to find a reasonable solution. As a result, my husband was forced to pay for an entirely separate room while our original room sat empty for the night. Good customer service requires both security and common-sense problem solving. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on both counts. The property itself was clean and well-located, but the lack of responsiveness and flexibility left a lasting negative impression.

I only stayed here because of concerts in town, if you expect a hotel front desk staff that cares don’t stay here. Apparently every front desk worker is the “manager” and when you confront them with room cleanliness (our room had a strange large decor looking stain in the tub that I could not clean off) , other hotel guests running in the halls naked from the bottom down, or being charged for smoking in the room and warned that it’s just because you enjoy a wiz khalifa concert 😂

Kind of crazy that there are reviews going back 2 weeks about the air conditioning not working in rooms and it's still not fixed. Currently sitting in 78 degrees wondering if I should go back downstairs for a fan. Staff has been nice, even moved our room, but ac not working in 2nd room either. Several folks in front of me in line with same issue. Editing review to add that after a trip to the gaming floor to contribute to the local economy, we found a much cooler room. Cool enough for a comfortable night and free us up to focus on the friendly service, clean room, and beautiful view of the river. Front desk and maintenance teams did great.
