Bellingham Queer Collective - BQC Center

The Bellingham Queer Collective (BQC) is a nonprofit LGBTQ+ organisation that runs the BQC Center at 310 West Champion Street, in the historic 100 Prospect Building downtown. Opened in 2024, it is billed as the first nonprofit LGBTQ+ community centre between Seattle and the Canadian border, and it has quickly become the hub of queer community life in Whatcom County. The centre offers weekday drop-in and co-working hours, Fun Fridays, Thursday game nights and a Queer Women's Group, and it hosts the monthly PFLAG Bellingham meeting. BQC also operates an 18+ third space in partnership with Northwest Youth Services' Q Center at 1409 Commercial Street. Whether you are new in town, travelling through, or simply looking for connection and current information on local events, the collective is the best first stop.
