Candlewood Suites St. Clairsville-Wheeling Area by IHG

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and the experience was very good. We came up from NE Florida because our son was working up there from where he lives in Alabama. One day he thought he had food poisoning but ended up having an emergency appendectomy! The sales manager Steve Wilson was so helpful getting us a room here where our son was staying and kept asking us how he was doing and was there anything we needed. Desiree from the front desk was also extremely helpful and nice? Everyone made a stressful situation a little better by their help and concern! Love having free laundry and a nice gym.

Very very nice rooms!!! We're staying here because my boyfriend is working locally... We have our bedroom with a decent size closet and also a living room with a pull out couch bed... Also a kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, fridge, sink and a garbage disposal... The bathroom is the perfect size!! And there's also a closet outside the bathroom and kitchen... And theres also a TV in our room and the living room... There is also shopping all the way around us!! All kindsa things to do for the family, wife or the kiddos!! Not a bad place to stay at all!!! We will return if we're ever back in the area!! For now tho we'll be here for the next few weeks... If my opinion changes I will be back to write about it... Also the staff is very accommodating and very helpful!! Anything I need they're more than willing to lend a hand and help me with my needs and wants!!!

Great place. Clean rooms. Even accommodated for a room leak and relocated us just a few rooms down. All the employees were nice and treated us both coming and going except the one that looks like Tina Belcher but after seeing us a hundred times she finally started greeting us.

This hotel is surrounded by a great area and everything basically in walking distances, the mall is right across the street and they have a outdoor pool for great summer memories, would definitely recommend staying here

Book this hotel then realized it was the right city but wrong state. I canceled it within two minutes and they still charged me. I called to explain it, and she stated that it was a no cancellation room. Candlewood will not see any more of my money

Very nice customer service, rooms were luxurious. Didn't get to check out the pool since it was outdoor during winter.

It's our last stop before our 4 hour drive home. Cleanest hotel we stayed at during our week long trip. We stayed at 2 airbnbs, and 1 other hotel. This was the cleanest!. The woman at the front counter this morning was super nice too.

Good location&clean rooms. Staff was friendly & pleasant.
