About this place Cocktails Cleveland

Cocktails Cleveland is a charming neighborhood gay bar offering a refreshingly unpretentious atmosphere in a quieter part of the city. If you're looking for an LGBTQ+ space that prioritizes genuine connection over flashy excess, this is a great spot to land. The venue features two pool tables, a small performance stage, and high-top seating arranged for conversation—there's no dance floor here, which keeps the energy relaxed and social rather than club-focused. The outdoor smoking patio is a highlight, with both covered and open areas plus a large heater to keep you comfortable during Cleveland's cooler evenings. The venue also offers convenient parking with its own small lot, plus easy street parking nearby, so you won't need to stress about finding a spot. Whether you're a Cleveland local or visiting the area, Cocktails Cleveland delivers the kind of low-key gay bar experience where you can actually hear your friends talk, enjoy a drink, catch a local performer, or shoot some pool without the pressure of keeping up with a scene. It's the sort of place that proves LGBTQ+ nightlife comes in many flavors—and not every bar needs a packed dance floor to be worth your time.

This was a fantastic bar to hit on my stay in Cleveland. Very old fashioned, clean, and friendly. Drinks were great. Bryon was the bartender and he was very friendly and easy on the eyes, sorry to hear he only works Mondays. My advice is to hit this bar when in Cleveland. Thanks Bryan!

Never going back. Let my roommate talk me into going here, it was fine until we ended up split up and i got pushed outside due to the tight space. Some guy outside was harassing me so i tried to come in and they refused to let me back in cuz it was after hours. Asked them to get my roommate so we could walk home together and they refused to get him, only reason he came out was because i started causing a scene since i felt unsafe due to the guy and refused to walk home by myself. Before we left we checked our pockets to make sure we had everything, i realized i didn't have my ID and the bar staff refused to even glance around for it. Bar tender who came to the door lied to my face as i was literally begging him to just glance around the floor for it and kept saying he already looked when he hadn't because he was literally standing in front of me. They wouldnt let me or my roommate go in to look for it and demanded i left or theyd call the cops but i refused to leave without my ID so they ended up calling cops on me. Had to hand the cops my card which the bar got back to me in pieces and kept the other one so they could see that i wasnt just causing a scene to cause a scene. It wasn't until the cops asked to be let into the bar look for my ID, that the staff handed it back and were like whoops it was on the floor. No apology or anything just handed it to me and told me to kick rocks. Didn't even bother getting my other card back just ended up canceling it. Don't bother going here. By far the worst bar experience I've had, and at every point and turn the employees actively put me in danger.
