About this place Argos Bar

Argos is Dayton's leather and bear bar, tucked into the Historic Inner East just east of downtown on Mabel Avenue. Open Thursday through Saturday nights, it's the home bar of the Miami Valley Bears and OLA, running theme nights, happy hours and live entertainment in a laid-back leather-and-Levi atmosphere. Owners Tony and Rich have a reputation for making newcomers feel like regulars, and the back patio with its fire pit and pool table gives the place more of a clubhouse feel than a slick nightclub. It's the go-to spot in Dayton for the bear, leather and kink crowd.

Great gay bar! Love the leather and bdsm aspects. They take card and cash. They have a pool table during the week. If your looking for a place to socialize in a safe lgbt+ bar this is it. I believe they also have dance nights as well. Wonderful patio! Themes for every day of the week!

The bar was nice, the bartender fun, the patrons welcoming. I’m not a prude, but my issue is the porn playing on the TV’s. That probably keeps more people away than you think. Switch it for music videos and I’ll be back.

It was a great place to hang out at during Pride. A pretty relaxed atmosphere and a great place to have a drink and talk with friends. Always enjoyed the place and never had a bad experience, but enjoying the new energy that comes with the new owners and staff. Music is good and isn't too loud to talk over. Attracts a variety of types.
