DeWeese Park

DeWeese Park is a large public park in north Dayton with a long-standing, low-key reputation as an informal gay cruising area, documented on cruising directories. Activity is discreet and mostly car- and foot-based around the quieter edges of the park. As with any public space it operates in a legal grey zone — public sexual activity is illegal in Ohio — so discretion and awareness of surroundings matter. By day it's simply a city park with trails and open space; the cruising reputation is unofficial and comes and goes.
