Our dinner service at the chefs counter was incredible. We had the ceviche, lamb, sweet potato, scallops and quesadilla. Everything was unreal amazingly delicious and the ceviche was my favorite, along with our cocktails! Our server/chef, who we nicknamed our Michelin Justin Bieber, was so kind and knowledgeable. Loved this dinner!

With all of the positive reviews I had waited for the right opportunity to try this place. With friends in town from Copenhagen it seemed like the right occasion to show visitors Denver had strong dining offerings. We all agreed that this was arguably the single most overrated restaurant any of us had ever dined at. First, credit where credit is due, the service from the hostess and the server was exceptional. Sadly the food was average at best. Of the 4 dishes: 2 were basically uninspired takes on tostadas, 3 were over salted and one was so spicy as to be barely edible. The insane prices are what pushes it completely over the top.

This place absolutely lives up to the hype! Best restaurant in Denver hands down! Everything we ate was exceptional, we ranked them as follows: Apache En Su Jugo, Ceviche De Atun, Tostada De Hamachi, Birria De Borrego, Callo De Hacho Al Horno, Camote Asado. I can’t stress enough how absolutely delicious every single dish was and the service was phenomenal.

1st Visit: Best food I’ve had in Denver. The flavors aren’t toned down for the Denver demographic. The spice and salt I’ve been looking for is there. A lot of the criticism is that some of the food is salty which I find a good thing as it shows the authenticity. I sat at the counter. It was my first Michelin Star restaurant so it was very cool to see the prep work. The host was sweet. The Camote was not to my taste so he comped it. That dish doesn’t overshadow the rest of my experience. 2nd Visit: It was so good the first time. I had to make it my last dinner before I moved out of denver. The taste and quality is consistent and was as good as the first time. I tried the Birria de Borrego this time. I’m honestly impressed. I’m very picky with my lamb and get icked out with it pretty easily. I finished the entire thing, which shows how good it is. Riley was very kind and accommodating. He made a new set of beans without lard because I don’t eat pork. Service and atmosphere is 10/10.
