Buddies Bar in Denver is a welcoming and laid-back LGBTQ+ bar with a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. It’s a great spot to relax, have a drink, and enjoy a low-pressure night out without any pretense. The staff is consistently kind and attentive, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The vibe is more casual and social, which makes it easy to strike up conversations or just hang out with friends. Unlike some nightlife spots, this isn’t a drag-focused venue—it’s more of a straightforward neighborhood-style gay bar, which makes it appealing if you’re looking for something simple, comfortable, and unpretentious. Overall, it’s a solid Denver staple if you want a chill LGBTQ+ bar with good energy and friendly people.

Great outdoor area. The staff/owners are what make it Great. But it is VERY loud in there. They should get some sound proofing. Amazing burger.

Love the atmosphere here. The security team does a great job making sure the area feels safe and comfortable for everyone while respectfully handling issues outside with the homeless. Food has always been good for a bar, drinks are solid, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. One thing that really stands out is how much they support local LGBTQ+ nonprofit organizations and fundraising events — they genuinely give back to the community instead of just talking about it. Huge thank you to them for creating a welcoming environment while also helping support causes that matter. Definitely a spot I’ll continue supporting and coming back to.

Look I have no problem with the food or bar, you really played an ai generated cover of a song. That's just tacky and lazy

Great “gayborhood” bar. Drink are good. Folks are friendly and the food is what you’re looking for in a pub. We had the onion rings and they were terrific!
