Hyatt Place Durham/Southpoint

Staff is wonderful. Rooms, bathroom very clean. Breakfast one of the best.

Pretty good hotel, not as modern as I expected for some reason. But by no means was it outdated. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is b/c the rooms feel like it deserves a microwave, instead of it being in the room it’s awkwardly by the elevators on a flimsy table.

Stayed here for local soccer event. The hotel was very busy. The rooms were large. The staff was very patient courteous and helpful even though you could tell they were running a capacity. Definitely recommend.

Very nice property. Clean and modern. Room was large and comfortable. Excellent pool. Full service bar and an attractive lobby. Great hot breakfast.

This is a room with a view just so you know, but it was a quiet room, and it is a great location. We got food from the Cheesecake Factory down the street. We are right next to the Aldi and Bonefish Grill though. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the people in the area are really nice. We would go back but not be in that room we were in, I don't need a view of a rooftop alittle off putting, and the wifi was very spotty only a few channels came in none were interesting ones though so we just cast shows from Peacock to the tv and it worked great no dish network issues in the storm. Oh the one other issues is the window area the light comes in from the top and shines right on the bed so they need to change the curtain situation. The fridge was small and old and we didn't have a microwave in the room, and for a room of this status it could be much better for the price as well. It was nice and clean and the bathroom was big and there were some updates to the room but a few things need updating elsewhere. There was plenty of free parking too.

We were pleasantly surprised by Hyatt Place. Overall this location is very clean and well kept. It offers one of the best complimentary breakfasts I’ve ever had. It’s in a quiet business park near an Aldi and a few restaurants. There is plenty of free parking. The pool and patio are a peaceful spot facing a wooded area behind the hotel.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a week, visiting family. Donna and the team made us all fee very welcome!

Great hotel, excellent cleaning staff, excellent breakfast service, food selection and quality of food. Bar can use a little better bartista. Pool excellent, outside seating area , grill, bar , pool lounge chairs excellent..room,beds, sofa bed , ac TV excellent, close to soo many restaurants, stores, ,.really enjoyed my stay will.co.e again..

Look forward to my next visit. Breakfast was lovely. Evening check in was pleasant. The location is simply spot on with multiple stores/food options within a mile.

The customer service was excellent, the room was clean and very quiet. I loved having my own thermostat, and the pool is spacious and beautiful .
