kitch-en is an inexpensive restaurant in a commercial building on Skyline Drive in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, at the edge of the Poconos. It is a mainstream restaurant listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. Google reviewers give it 4.7 from about 300 reviews. This place is outstanding! We were visiting from out of town and immediately everyone was beyond welcoming and the food was flavorful!

Wow, where do I start? OK first off, you need to start following their socials so you can stay up to date on their weekly specials. I haven't lived in PA for a long time but everytime I come to visit family I ALWAYS have to come here. This must recent time my sister and I had two of the weekly specials. She had the Whipped Ricotta Pancake with Honey Blossom Fig Syrup. Ooof how yummy, and there was actual figs on top, not just the "essence of". I had the "Sandwich Special" Chicken Empenadas with ají crema. Another slam dunk! Super flavorful, perfect balance of crunchy and soft. We each had a coffee as well. I had mine with the homemade pistachio cold foam, so rich, creamy, and pistachio-y!! The service here is always friendly, Dean was a delight to converse with and his wife is a magician in the kitchen and super sweet. The place is tiny and cozy, with a ton of fun signs, decorations, and tchotchkes. Be aware, certain things do sell out quickly, especially the baked French toast. I'm telling you, there's no bad options here. Run, don't walk, to eat here when you have the chance!!!

First time there, food was ok just not enough. Ordered 3 egg omelet, very small and very little fillings, suppose to have gotten toast and fruit and didn’t receive either.Coffee was very good. People friendly, Took long to get food, hash browns were not cooked.

Our favorite spot! The pancakes are the best I've ever had, and the specials are so creative and delicious.
