What reviewers say

Visitors praise the hotel's boutique touches, cleanliness, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, with some highlighting the pool and hot tub. However, multiple guests complain about the hotel being run-down, noisy due to thin walls and outside-facing doors, and a lack of amenities like an ice machine, breakfast, or in-room coffee pots, with some feeling misled by online photos and unaware of ongoing renovations.

We stayed there June 14th and 15th. We were delighted at how clean the pool and hot tub were. We appreciated how much time and detail a staff member put in to ensuring the hot tub was meeting safety requirements. He made sure to clear out any small item that would float in the pool. It was the cleanest pool we have ever seen. We were very grateful for the time and consideration that was put into making the pool and hot tub a safe and enjoyable experience.

This is the worst BW I've been Too. No Ice Machine, you to go to the front desk. No Breakfast. No Ironing board. No Coffee pot. No Microwave. No Frig. Room felt very cheap. The Doors were on the outside and you could see under them and hear everything in the night. The Parking was awful with all the construction going on.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I loved the unique décor and the exceptionally friendly staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms feature red light and sound therapy, and the wellness room—with its dry sauna and cold plunge—was a wonderful and unique touch. My kids had a great time in the pool area, and the location couldn't have been better. Being so close to Old Town allowed us to easily walk to restaurants, shops, and everything the area has to offer. We had a fantastic stay and can't wait to come back!

The details and intentional boutique touches are wonderful. What a convenient location for a Fort Collins / CSU get-away.

This hotel is undergoing renovation and has been renamed the Buxton. I made a reservation in March, for a stay in early June. At no point was this information communicated to me in any way. The room that we were assigned was 2 doors down from active construction. We had been out late on Friday night and were awakened by the sounds of large item being dropped into a dumpster (among other construction noise) at 8:00 AM on a Saturday. The room was small, but clean, with a street-facing window that was about 10 feet away from public sidewalk. The Window had no sheer curtains so we were left with the choice of having a dark room or having anyone who walked by being able to see directly into the room. There was really no place for 2 people to sit other than the bed. The shower had no grab bar, which seems like a safety issue. If not for their cancellation policy, I would have walked away. When I made the reservation, the website indicated that this hotel had a complimentary continental breakfast, The current website indicates that there is a "grab and go"breakfast available. I saw no sign of either. There was coffee available in the lobby, but no cream was available when I stopped by to get a cup. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. For approximately $325.00 per night (including taxes) my expectations did not even begin to be met. This experience has soured my on the Best Western brand altogether. Given the option, I will always be choosing another hotel, and encouraging others to do the same.
