Vagabond Inn - Glendale

Great for the location, clean quiet and the onsite parking is a plus.

We were really happy with this hotel/motel: clean, private, and well-maintained. We stayed four nights, and they cleaned our room every day without us even asking. The staff is also very friendly. Parking is only $10. Glendale is also really beautiful, with lots of shops and restaurants just a few meters away.

My experience at Vagabond Inn was extremely disappointing. Despite calling days in advance to confirm my early morning arrival, I found my reservation had been canceled without prior notice. Although they eventually agreed to accommodate me, management refused to honor my original reservation price (which was an early bird promotion), forcing me to pay a much higher rate under the pre-booking claim that the previous reservation was no longer valid. This is a complete lack of respect for the customer: I made sure to notify them in advance, and yet they still used their own mismanagement to overcharge me. Customer service is nonexistent, and they have no willingness to resolve issues fairly. I do not recommend this hotel; they cannot be trusted with confirmed reservations.

We had a great stay at Vagabond. Perfect location, amazing stuff and accommodating to whatever I needed for my disabled mom. Ana the manager is very efficient.

I'm making this comment based on my own experience. Regarding the rooms, the problem we had was with the reservation. We arrived at 3:00 AM and were told the system had canceled it, forcing us to pay the current rate (which was obviously over 35%). We had called in advance to let them know we would be arriving at that time, and they told us we didn't need to do anything else. On the second day, they were working with heavy machinery and woke us up at 6:00 AM to move our car, and we couldn't sleep because of all the noise. The service was terrible, and there was absolutely no empathy for customer satisfaction.

Great value and location

Very nice and clean hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Our housekeeper was a very nice lady and does a very good job.
