I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our stay was disappointing. When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. After traveling all day—myself from Spain and my boyfriend from Philadelphia to Boston—we were looking forward to relaxing and enjoying our evening together after a week apart. Instead, after dinner, we spent a significant portion of the night waiting in our room for an engineer to address the issue. The engineer came not once, but twice, without a clear resolution. His shift ended at 11 PM, and after he left, no one followed up to confirm whether the air conditioning was actually fixed. As a result, we were left uncertain whether the issue had been resolved and felt unable to leave the room. Because of this disruption, we missed the opportunity to return to the rooftop bar and enjoy the rest of our evening as planned. While the staff we interacted with were polite, the inconvenience consumed a large part of our night and significantly impacted our overall experience, especially considering the amount we spent on our stay. Additionally, the room did not even have complimentary cold bottled water available despite being in 75 degree, sweaty room. For the price we paid, we expected a room that was fully functional upon arrival. While issues can happen, the lack of a timely resolution and follow-up made for a frustrating experience. I hope management takes steps to prevent future guests from encountering similar issues and considers making this right for those affected.

Modern mediocre. Meeting room with poor acoustics.

The hotel itself is clean, chic, modern, and seemingly brand new. Unfortunately, the service was among the worst I have experienced. During a 3-night stay, housekeeping failed to service our room on 2 of the 3 nights. After the 2nd missed cleaning, I called reception and was told they were short-staffed because housekeeping employees had called in sick. Although we had been out of the room all day, I was informed at 7:00 PM that no one could come because housekeeping had already left at 5:00 PM—not even to tidy the room or replenish basic toiletries. When I went to reception to speak with the manager, the same employee who had taken my call openly contradicted me and effectively called me a liar in front of him. I requested that they review the recorded phone call. The manager later claimed that housekeeping had missed the room because a “Do Not Disturb” sign was displayed on the door. This was completely untrue. I always remove the sign before leaving the room and asked them to review the CCTV footage to verify it. To make matters worse, the manager later emailed an apology stating that a full night’s stay would be refunded. However, the actual refund processed was only a small flat amount that was nowhere near the cost of one night. After two follow-up emails requesting clarification, they never replied & I was completely ignored. A beautiful property is meaningless when basic service, accountability, and customer care are this poor.

If all you are looking for is overpaying for a modern design room, this is your place. Now if you expect to have some service to come with a high if not overpriced room price, not where you want to stay. This is a barebones type of hotel with no service other than the room. There is no room service, laundry service takes at least 24h to get you your laundry back and pretty much anything you ask for the answer will be „we don’t provide that“

I spent my birthday weekend at the The Atlas Hotel and when I say the service was exceptional, I truly mean it. This hotel is easily a 10 out of 10 and one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Boston, this is definitely the hotel to book. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The ambience, food, cleanliness, decor, and overall atmosphere were amazing. They truly made me feel like a queen the entire weekend and helped make my birthday unforgettable. Special shoutout to Victor, Erin, and Ace for making my experience so special. Their kindness, attention, and warm energy made my birthday weekend even more memorable. I truly appreciated how loved, celebrated, and cared for they made me feel during my stay. Thank you so much, Atlas Hotel — I will definitely be back! Highly recommend, 10 out of 10 experience. And when you book at Atlas, please tell them Mackenzie sent you! I love this hotel so much. PLEASE BOOK ASAP!
