Wonderfully comfortable rooms, personable staff, burgeoning location, and great views of Harvard School of Business and the Charles! Offering something new in the surrounding area of Boston/Cambridge— highly recommend.

Brand new hotel in an excellent location. Bed was very comfortable, large bathroom and has all the modern amenities. slippers, robe and turn down service was unexpected and appreciated. Excellent breakfast too. Definitely returning.

The worst service I have ever experienced in any hotels! I went shopping in the morning, and put my shopping bag, with products in it, on the cupboard under the TV (see pic1). The housekeeper insanely used the bag to empty the trash bin (pic2) and TOOK IT AWAY!! And the trash bin after she emptied, looks like this in pic 3. And what’s obviously trash on the night stand— she throw my cable and eye drops in it and left it there (pic4). It’s unbelievable. I’m just glad that they managed to find my shopping bag in the trash, otherwise I don’t know if there is even a way to compensate. Someone came to return my bag claiming the the housekeeper thought the brown paper bag was trash- it’s not even an empty one! How could housekeeper be authorized to throw away guest’s belongings ?! I just don’t understand.

Amazing Stay

I've stayed at The Atlas several times for business and have enjoyed each visit. The lobby is beautifully designed and genuinely pleasant to work/meet people in. The front desk staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. Rooms are on the smaller side but feel considered and well-appointed, with smart, bespoke details and a great suite of Malin+Goetz bathroom products. The gym is the real standout. For a hotel gym, it's remarkably well-equipped with several benches, a squat rack/bench press, a double pulley machine, dumbbells up to 75 lbs, plus leg machines. It feels more like a resort-level facility than the typical hotel. Cardio options are plentiful too. Ama, the restaurant downstairs, is worth a visit on its own. Great cocktails, a fun small plates menu, and a solid atmosphere. The fried chicken is a highlight. Overall, an upscale and impressive hotel with beautiful surroundings to match. Highly recommend.

Erin, the receiptionist, truly helped make our stay special by providing us an incredible view of Harvard Business School in lieu of our room not being ready upon arrival. She was extremely courteous and polite. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully designed. Notably, the bathroom uses a slide-in door, which gives the bathroom more space. The breakfast pancakes from Ama restaurant in the lobby were literally the best pancakes I've ever had. The staff always smiled at us and helped us wherever we needed it. Always good vibes and excellent decor. This was the best hotel experience of my life. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay worth remembering. We can't wait to come back.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel due to shocking incompetence from the front desk team that caused me real financial harm. On 19 April, I gave my personal card solely for authorisation and explicitly asked the employee if any charge or hold would be placed on it. I was clearly reassured that nothing would be taken. Thirty minutes later, £1,425.07 was deducted from my account with zero explanation. My entire stay had already been paid in full upfront by my employer, and I showed the confirmation at check-in. I spoke to three different front desk staff members and none of them could explain what happened. I left my room number and email and was promised a callback, which never came. This mistake forced me to liquidate long-term investments to cover my rent and borrow money from my wife to clear an overdraft. It created serious financial stress and completely ruined what should have been a good stay in the Boston/Cambridge area. There was no resolution offered, my formal complaint was ignored, and they even took further money from my card without permission or explanation. I have received neither compensation nor a proper apology. The hotel itself is built to a good standard, but the management is grossly incompetent. There are 3-4 people dedicated just to opening Uber doors and handling luggage, plus two more whose only job seems to be opening the hotel doors. These roles add no value and actually feel irritating as a guest. That staff should be redeployed and properly trained to handle customers instead. Minor issues included an empty shower gel dispenser in the bathroom (I didn’t even bother reporting it). While the location is right next to the business school, there are currently no convenience stores nearby. Very disappointing overall.

No parking available in the area. The closest parking is about 2 blocks away at the rate of $16/hour.

- It was really difficult trying to get my folio for work travel reimbursement. It took me weeks of back and forth emailing. - Simple things that should be intuitive to do in a hotel, like use the elevator, turn on the room lights, or take a shower, were over designed and unnecessarily difficult to do. - The staff treats you like royalty in a way that’s a lil bit much IMO. - There were no food item prices available when ordering room service. Theres also mandatory fees that were not disclosed. - I had a very nice waiter at AMA. - Rooms were clean and whatnot!
