Cute boutique hotel. Service was great

Quiet, beautiful setting. Lots of room to comfortably spread out on the river bank. Room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Our room had its own deck and it was the cherry on top. We had a lovely, relaxing time!

This spot is really fun. Beautiful location with redwoods, the river and with a restaurant and speakeasy style bar. Enjoyed ourselves. Lindsey made us great Lemon drop drinks

There has been no one at the front desk or restaurant or bar for 2 days. The restaurant is only open Friday Saturday. We need towels, blankets, and other items and nobody will answer the phone. No food or coffee until 9 -11. Theres not even a microwave in the room. The coffee machine in the room doesn’t work. $500 for 2 nights with no service is unacceptable. There was a stray big dog running around at night with no collar I believe it was a Great Pyrenees, and luckily I was outside to help close the gates because it came right towards my dog and luckily we got ours inside in time. There are no phones anywhere even for emergencies inside the rooms or the front desk. So there’s no people to ask or to call for help on sight or a phone which is a major hazard. The room we got was disgusting. They literally forgot to clean it. The towels were stained the blankets were stained. It’s pretty nasty on all the beds and swings outside too, weathered and they have no one to keep this place clean it seems. No food. No service. It sucks. On the bright side the view is amazing. And is 30 min from bodega or to Jenner. They do not turn the fire pits on. They do not have the dock connected to the river yet so you can only look at the water unless you drive to the other side. All surrounding food doesn’t open until 3-4pm so be prepared to have food on hand. The only thing amazing about this place is the view and that it’s very quiet and relaxing and not too far from the beach. But really look into what you’re paying for.

There is zero staff there is no continental breakfast. There's no way to get extra towels or blankets basically on your own once you arrive here you check yourself in you check yourself out apparently the kayaks fire pits and the activities are seasonal. My room said it had a tub there's no tub. There's no microwave. Make sure you come self-sufficient and don't need to rely on any of the staff or a hotel lobby member there is zero people to reach out to even by phone. Property is beautiful photo though.

This place is not what it seems. We recently booked a room after viewing their website and social media pages but were extremely let down. The room was filthy and outdated. In the room, there was dead bugs on the walls, live bugs in the carpet, stained carpets, stains on the walls, chipped paints, dusty fans, a moldy shower, and exposed electrical hazards. We paid for the option to have champagne and a charcuterie board in the room as advertised, of course this was not there. We were still charged for the service. All of the amenities were closed and it should be noted that they are only available to private events. We attempted to seek help for all of these issues and were ignored. We were really hoping to support a small business and purchase a better room and were denied the request due to management not being at the site and lack of a front desk staff member. Overall, pretty gross, unprofessional, and unhygienic.

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t a great experience. The seating in the garden area was dirty, so we couldn’t sit and enjoy it — which was disappointing because it could have been lovely if it were clean. The room was very small and felt cramped and stuffy, which made the overall stay uncomfortable.

An unacceptable experience. I got stuck in a poorly programmed AI phone system trying to get check-in information for a “late-night” arrival, 8:00 PM on a Monday. Check-in relies on receiving an email with door codes, which is useless if the email is never sent. It ultimately took a 20-minute call with my travel agent to reach someone and resolve the issue. The process was far more difficult than it should have been. The room itself had additional problems. There was no interior deadbolt on the door. The bathroom window had a completely transparent section and no covering. It was also missing a wastebin. The room smelled musty. These are issues I would normally raise with a front desk, if anyone had been available. 9am breakfast was completely ignored. The front desk receptionist device wasn't set up. For the price charged, the lack of support, security, and overall room quality is unacceptable.

Worst wedding venue ever. They are completely money hungry. I understand that weddings in America can be expensive and that venues try to capitalize on such a big day, but this was on another level. It felt like they tried to charge for absolutely everything. To this extent, it is just ridiculous. The staff was also extremely rude. I strongly recommend hiring outside vendors if you choose this venue. We tipped the staff 20 percent at our wedding, yet on the actual wedding day they did not consistently serve my guests drinks. At one point they even threatened to pour drinks out. The next day, one staff member had the audacity to wander around my room asking for additional tips. It was incredibly unprofessional. The wedding manager oversees everything remotely and was not present. She did not seem aware of what was actually happening on site. The only thing that seemed to matter was finding more ways to charge us. To be fair, the scenery is absolutely beautiful. The location itself is stunning. But if you decide to have your wedding here, I strongly recommend bringing in outside vendors because the in house team simply does not care about your experience.

This was such a fantastic place to stay. Such a cool historical building. The grounds are beautiful. The bar was great, all of the staff was absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to return in the summer.
