great atmosphere, food, and drinks. incredible drag shows!
It was my first time in this place the owner/ bartender was very nasty and rude.
Went on the 4/10/26 got a Blue Moon from the bartender (very handsome bald bartender) $8.00 gave him $2.00 tip, later that night went back to the other country looking bartender to get two more Blue Moons gave him a twenty, gave me the drinks and was waiting for my change, so I asked did you forget something? Looked me in the face and said the drink's was $20.00 and it's really $25.00. I'm a 65 yr old man so I've been around for a while, I didn't think to get his name but I'm going back to get it. I also went back to the handsome bartender and got another Blue Moon & was charged $8.00 and gave $2.00 tip again. I tip good service it's my choice and I feel the country looking bartender made the choice for me.
Can we get the pool tables back
Chez has been an LGBTQIA+ bar/club for many years and through them all, and still today, is a great place. With so many different events that are fun and inclusive, you can’t help but to have a good time.
Not a fan of this place at all. Ended up here after another venue was unexpectedly shut down due to plumbing issues. It’s not many queer choices in CT - so majority of us ended up there. It’s like we took over their space - we were all dressed in white. However, I don’t really care for the vibe here. I’m 32 and a native from Hartford. I’ve been here a handful of times and each time I wish I saved my money. Anywho, I get to the bar waited over 10 mins to order a drink, it was made wrong, and the bartender got a whole attitude. I later found out it was the owner - how pitiful. So I went to the other side, waited another 10 mins, and was skipped over twice before my drink was remade. Also - they played techno, electronica, and house with overlays from the early 2000’s all night. Where is the diversity? I should have called it a night after the plumbing issues.
