The restaurant has the best seafood chowder I have ever had.
Absolutely fantastic service! The staff went above and beyond to help me find the perfect plan, and their friendly attitude made the whole experience so enjoyable. I couldn't be happier with my new phone and the support I received!
Great location, close to everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and the room was spotless.
The hotel was decent, but the breakfast could definitely use some improvement. The room was clean and comfy, but I was a bit disappointed with the lack of amenities. Overall, it was a good stay, just not what I expected.
I'm going to be picky and for the price of the room that's my privilege. We moved out of West Hartford 5yrs ago and this was our 1st return trip. The Delamar was our choice as we decided to go up scale and wanted the convenience of West Hartford Center. The hotel has a great location at the edge of the Center making it the most convenient hotel for the area. The staff was friendly and efficient. The valet parking was excellent. Housekeeping showed up daily. The room was large and comfortable. Our room did not have a balcony but had a nice view. The courtesy breakfast offered plenty of choices and was better than the average hotel. So what's the gripe? 1- The water pressure at the sink was low, the shower was fine and the hot water at the sink could have been hotter. 2- Although cute, the Nespresso machine in the room does demi-tasse cups. This makes it tough to get going in the morning. 3- The bathroom sink lighting could be improved. However, there is a great coffee machine in the lobby and of course breakast has real cups for coffee. Yeah, I know I'm being petty but at $500/night. that's my option.
