Delamar West Hartford

Went there for a funeral so that's why the 2 stars.. know nothing about the hotel at all. But very clean and very nice main lobby...

Went for Mckenzie & Childs high tea service and it was lovely. Quick service, friendly servers/hostess, great food and tea.

Overall room and stay was nice . But the racism by staff , and the way you get judged because what you are is ridiculous. People immediately started pointing fingers at me and my wife for smoking weed, when I literally saw someone smoking a cigarette right underneath us on the balcony , so I opened up the window witch is big enough and I stood there the whole time until we left on our date .. received a call prior to leaving about complaint of smoking .. not even being specific on what kind of smoke . So we literally did not even attempt it again . I just rolled up and took it outside by the fire place witch they can see if they have cameras .. by the way all people in there was giving us nasty looks like this was slavery time .. very disrespectful.. definitely judge a book by it's cover when I'm obviously in a expensive hotel because I can afford it .. I'm in a union. But anyways.. my wife got charged $250 after we left . Talking about smoking fees and what ever else plus our deposit witch they kept too .. dosent make no sense if you take money from me for anything it should be from deposit or my bank account. I understood the drink and stuff they offer but anything else should have been took from deposit I feel very disrespected.. I really enjoyed it and all but next time (if there is a next time .) I'm not using there parking im going to the lot so I can smoke and I will let it be known when I walk out im going to my car to smoke weed.. if ya smell anything it's my clothes. I'm NOT SMOKING IN THE ROOM 💯 AND THIS POST WILL BE HERE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE IF I FEEL LIKE WE GETTING PICKED ON OR ANTAGONIZED BECAUSE OF OUR RACE WE WILL HAVE PROBLEMS.. AND all that extra money they took from me I definitely need something back . This is ridiculous.. like I said other wise beautiful place.. just can't stand the people staying there who think they better then you and staff because they automatically believe people. Like seriously what if I was just rolling up and not smoking In there , because ya find a blunt weapon u automatically wanna throw a smoking fee.. no I don't think so

This place is a gem. Went with a group of friends for the spa services and an early dinner. The spa is quiet and clean. The massage therapists are excellent. The restaurant has great options, too. The service folks were friendly. We plan to go back.

Love all the Delamar properties! Only issue is that bathrooms are too quiet lol!

We photographed a bride getting ready at the hotel and took photos of her with her family in the lobby. The hotel is clean, welcoming and has many beautiful locations for photos. Highly recommend as a good location for you to stay for your wedding and for getting ready.

We booked Delamar West Hartford just over two years in advance of our wedding date. From the moment we walked in, we fell in love with the incredibly luxurious, upscale environment and immediately knew it would be the perfect setting for our formal, timeless, black-tie winter wedding. While our initial experience had a few bumps, the end result was nothing short of exceptional. Our first point of contact felt a bit cold, and after she left, we were passed between a few different sales coordinators. At the time, we didn’t mind too much since we were booked far in advance and there wasn’t much needed during the early planning stages. However, about eight months before our wedding, we were invited to lunch at Artisan with a new coordinator. While the gesture was lovely, it quickly became apparent that she was unfamiliar with the details of our wedding beyond the date. We found ourselves explaining the timeline, room selections, and pricing, which was uncomfortable and concerning. After continued miscommunication, we knew it was time to escalate our concerns. That decision changed everything. We reached out to Erin, the Director of Catering, who responded promptly and offered to meet with us. Erin listened to every concern, validated our experience, and immediately took ownership of our wedding. From that moment on, about three months before our big day, everything was seamless. Erin ensured that every detail from our 2+ year-old contract was honored and even helped us use leftover funds to add thoughtful upgrades that enhanced our guests’ experience. She was always responsive, reassuring, and completely on top of every detail. She worked flawlessly with our wedding planner and made us feel confident that everything we had spent years planning would come together perfectly. Our tasting about a month before the wedding was another standout moment. That’s when we met Debbie, Charlie, and Hope — an absolutely incredible catering team. Along with Erin, they made us feel less like clients and more like family. We truly felt as though our wedding was their top priority. When wedding weekend arrived, the excellence continued. Friday evening, Erin and Debbie guided us through our rehearsal, followed by a phenomenal dinner in The Copper Room at Artisan. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and our guests were blown away by the elegant, romantic ambiance created for our private dinner. Saturday was pure magic. Erin, Debbie, and the entire team worked alongside our planner to create the most beautiful winter wonderland wedding. Erin personally delivered champagne and hot hors d’oeuvres to our suite immediately following the ceremony, and Debbie greeted us with cocktails as we entered the reception. The bar service was excellent, and the food somehow managed to be even better. We served chicken and filet mignon, both of which received rave reviews from our guests all night long. The weekend flew by, and by Sunday morning we found ourselves giving Debbie a tearful goodbye hug — a true testament to how special this team is. Despite a bumpy start, we cannot speak highly enough about Delamar and Artisan West Hartford. The professionalism, care, and heart shown by Erin, Debbie, and the entire team transformed our experience and gave us the wedding of our dreams. We will forever be grateful.

I had a short stay, three days. A fantastic place, all the staff are wonderful. The food at the bar is some of the best I have ever had. Check-in and check-out were immediate. Quiet… overall, one of the best places I have ever stayed.
