About the event

Join Katy Pride on Thursday, November 19, from 6–7 PM at Mary Jo Peckham Park Pavilion in Katy for a community vigil honoring transgender lives lost to anti-transgender violence. Together, we’ll read the names of those lost, hold flameless candles, and gather in remembrance and solidarity. Speakers include Cam Stodghill, 2026 Katy Pride Grand Marshal; Rev. Heather Tolleson of FCC Katy; Joëlle Espeut of The Normal Anomaly Initiative and the Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus; and Robin Allen, Producer of the Trans Voices Podcast. More speakers will be announced. Trans Voices Houston will provide community resources and remembrance items. All are welcome to join us in honoring those lost and standing with the trans community.
