A little loud and a bit salty for my taste but very good eating. Only 4 stars because I've only been here once but I'm sure that will change over time. Highly recommend.
The oysters Rockefeller were some of the best I've had however both of our pasta dishes were really lacking flavor.
We had a wonderful experience at Vino Italian Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a family dinner or a special night out. The food was absolutely delicious everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The portions were generous, and every dish was beautifully prepared. The service was excellent throughout the meal, with staff regularly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Vino delivered a fantastic dining experience with great food, outstanding service, and a cozy ambiance. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone.
Service was ok, it could have been better since the place was not really busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff available. I felt our waitress could have checked on us more often and be a little more attentive. Food was not good. The bread to start us off was cold and stale. The best part of that was the butter that we used on the bread itself. The appetizers that came next were undercooked or appeared to have been sitting out for a while and reheated. It was bland and gross. Next, our main courses. Wow, all our food were undercooked. It did not taste like anything at all and it did not look fresh. I have had frozen dinners that tasted better and looked more fresh that what I had here. I'm glad we didn't bother with the dessert because even that would have been a disappointment as well. Atmosphere was ok. It looked and sounded Italian but the main reason to go here should be the food and service. Unfortunately the food was disappointing and I can't recommend going here until they figure out how to improve the food quality.
Chesapeake location. Great when first opened. Really good. About a two months ago food quality started slipping. This trip was the lowest. FOCCACIA Bread good. CHICKEN PARMIGIANA, two pieces of chicken, one piece nothing but gristle and tiny, the other better not as small. They didn’t drain the pasta very well (3rd time in a row) and small portion not fully cooked. PENNE ALA VODKA, came hot, sauce very thin and added chicken tiny amount. This must be their cost cutting solution. Lower quality ingredients and less attention to food quality. Don’t buy soda, hasn’t been good since opening. Tea also bad. Just get the wine.
