Spark by Hilton Kent Seattle offers a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming experience for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel’s location provides easy access to the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, making it an ideal choice for guests traveling to or from the airport or exploring the surrounding region. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a smooth check-in process and a friendly, attentive team that helps create a positive guest experience. The property provides excellent value with complimentary Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast options, offering the essential amenities needed for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. While Spark by Hilton is designed as a more streamlined and value-focused hotel rather than a full-service property, it delivers a reliable and enjoyable experience with comfortable accommodations, convenience, and great accessibility. Overall, Spark by Hilton Kent Seattle is recommended for travelers seeking a clean, affordable, and comfortable stay with easy access to the Kent and Seattle areas.
My specific complaint is regarding Adrianna at this location. My dad booked a room for me to stay here through Hotels.com and the room had bugs that I killed upon entering, the tile floor was stained with a layer of grime, and the shower had hair in it. I grabbed my items and went downstairs and handed her the keys, said the room is very dirty and I cannot stay here. My dad contacted Hotels.com and asked for a refund and they said they would contact management. Adrianna called back and was aggressively rude. She said she had four people check the room and everyone said it was fine and because the beds sheets were moved, she could not refund us. A note regarding the sheets, I pulled them back to check the bed. She lied and said I made no comment about the dirty room, she raised her voice and spoke over me as I tried to explain to her why I could not stay there, refused to let me speak, and kept saying I didn’t say the room was dirty and she had people check the room. If she wasn’t informed that the room was dirty, why did she have four different people verify the cleanliness of it? The standard of cleanliness at this hotel is appalling if she is claiming it was clean. I travel weekly for work and stay at various hotels and her behavior is unacceptable. As a professional who engages with people regularly, it is very important for Hilton to know, as a company standard, that someone of this poor caliber of service is representing their company, and I have also provided this feedback to them directly. I recommended that they address this issue and provide Adrianna training in customer interactions to reduce any further diminishment of their brand. As far as the charge and refusal of refund, I will handle it with my credit card company where services were not provided for the charge. My only intention of this feedback is to make others aware of the poor management and service at this location. 6/10- For the recent response shown by the owner, I am not the only person that has had a bad experience with Andrea. There is another poor review naming her specifically and others naming the front desk staff. Rather than sharing this information with management, I hope you get involved yourself and address the issue. Allowing this type of behavior by employees on a property you own, should always be completely unacceptable.
Excellent hotel for truckers! Plenty of truck parking, pet-friendly, and the laundry facilities are a huge plus. I stayed with my cats and had a very positive experience. Clean, comfortable, and convenient for travelers. Highly recommended!
Rooms are pretty good, and they wven cleaned up after the first night, unlike many hotels these days. Location isn't great, not many walkable food options but there is a Starbucks across the street for the early riser. Breakfast is not the Hilton standard, that's for sure.
I would not recommend this place. They do not respect their guests’ privacy. I recently gave birth and have family traveling in from New Jersey and Anchorage. Since this is the closest hotel to my home, we’ve already booked here twice within the last three weeks. I was even planning to have additional family members stay here, but that is no longer happening. My 87-year-old grandmother and my mother both placed “Do Not Disturb” signs on their door because they wanted to sleep in and rest. Despite that, hotel staff still knocked and then entered the room anyway. Apparently, it is hotel policy to enter rooms every other day, regardless of the guest’s request. If you want to sleep past 9:00 a.m. without being disturbed, I do not recommend staying here. The breakfast was disappointing, and the coffee was often cold. It certainly did not feel fresh or available 24/7 as advertised. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. Because of it, I’m sending my sister, aunt, and their partners to a different hotel where guests’ privacy and “Do Not Disturb” requests are respected.
Nice motel, good price far enough away from hectic downtown, but surrounding area had plenty of restaurants and shopping
