Honestly, the manager at Baymont in Kent, Washington was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I stayed at this hotel for over 40 days and was always respectful. Despite that, the manager criticized me, refused to extend my stay, and threatened to call the police if I did not leave, even though my checkout time was 11:00 a.m. He terminated my stay without providing a valid reason and treated me unfairly. From what I observed, he also treats employees poorly. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this location based on the way management handles guests and staff. What you said in my other comment is not true. I tried to call the company, but you refused to let me stay longer, even though I was willing to pay the $120; I never refused to pay. Don't be such a gossip, Mr. Singh Shinh; be a man of your word and reflect on your own behavior. You treat everyone at the hotel very poorly; none of your employees like you because of your terrible attitude. Face up to the situation and own your mistakes, sir. LEEA BIEN A NADIEN DE LOS TRABAJAN HAY LO QUIEREN YA MEJOR VALLASE Y DEJE A TODOS TRABAJAR AGUSTO LA VERDAD ES UNA PERSONA DE MAL GENIO
No mamen se robaron mi comida del vestíbulo enfrente de la empleados The manager is a very despotic person; he spends all his time yelling at his employees. I stayed there for over 40 days, and he threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. He refused to charge me for any additional days, even though there was no theft or anything. My checkout time was 11:00 AM, and he refused to extend my stay.
Shihn, the GM at Baymont Kent was super helpful! We travel for a company and this was one of the best stays we've had in our 3 years of traveling to this area. Thank you!!
The manager there is AMAZING. I don't think I've ever actually liked service that any other manager has ever given me, except for his. I forget his name, it starts with an S. I really appreciate the service that he gave me, on more than one occasion.
Terrible hotel, the only thing that could've been worse is the place being dirty, which thankfully it was actually pretty clean, but that's the only positive about this place other than the jetted tub. Breakfast is sad much like all other "free" breakfasts at hotels, had to wait until 4:30pm to check in to the room I booked weeks in advance because they didn't have any clean by 3pm on the first floor (which I had to be on the first floor as they don't allow pets on anything else but the first) the lady at the desk was rude when I tried to check in and tried to switch me into a much smaller room and seemed very annoyed when I requested the room I booked, the hallway had broken glass on the floor and when my wife reported it to front desk they did nothing, the place is right near train tracks so if you want to actually get sleep bring noise cancelling headphones as they'll loudly blare the train horns for 5-10 minutes at a time, laundry room with posted times of allowed use were left unlocked for other guests from higher floors to come down and loudly do laundry 2 hours after the allowed time. Room I finally got after way too long waiting ended up not even having fully functioning power as the main room light and one of the bedside lights were completely non-functional (even after having a maintenance man come into the room), TV remote in room didn't work fully and was such a pain to even try to control, I also had my TV pop up with an apple code thing multiple times and couldn't do anything about it because said remote doesn't work fully and I had to fully reset the whole TV by unplugging everything. This is just about the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, and will never be staying at a Baymont again because of it. Edit after management comment: it doesn't matter that the owner disagrees, from first hand experience this hotel is awful and does nothing about BROKEN GLASS in their hallway and outside, owner is a jerk that couldn't care less about guest safety, I hope this place shuts down like the red lion that was in its spot before.
Great hotel , great customer service and the prices are always good . The manager SINGH SHIHN is FANTASTIC, his customer service is through the roof. Would highly recommend this hotel
I am a long-time, loyal Wyndham Platinum member, and my experience at this Baymont location was profoundly disappointing. I called the front desk this morning to request a late checkout—a standard benefit of my status. Not only was the request initially denied without cause, but when I politely clarified my Platinum status, the person who identified themselves as the General Manager became openly hostile and condescending. They explicitly told me, "I knew that, I’ve been doing this for 30 years, I know more than you," before abruptly hanging up on me. This level of disrespect from a property’s leadership is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the room itself was in poor condition upon arrival. The toilet was dirty and clogged, and I discovered visible black mold under the bathroom sink. I expected a professional and clean experience, but this stay failed on every level. I have already escalated this to corporate, as no guest should be treated this way or expected to stay in such unsanitary conditions. I strongly advise potential guests to consider staying elsewhere.
