Marina Inn

Large room with a nice workspace. Good parking and easily accessible. Cleaning could be better… after the first night, we returned from a day in Seattle and found that nothing had been cleaned; it wasn't even that bad, but the towels we had placed on the floor specifically for that purpose hadn't been replaced either. Breakfast hardly deserves the name, though fortunately there was some fruit and yogurt.

I was very excited for my trip, wasn't expecting high class but very disappointed when I walked into my room and it was not clean. Front desk was notified of course and moved us to another room. As we try opening the door to the room the lock was forced closed due to it being broken and shims falling out SMH. We processeded to the front desk again and was moved to another room. Finally settled, unfortunate they have so many restrictions yet not the most welcoming entrance. The escalator did not work the carpets are dirty and the doors to go outside are held by a dirty rag to prevent from locking. Our key did not work although we let the front desk know they supposedly activated it and still no luck. To say the least in the 5 days we stayed did they vacuum the carpets. If I could post pictures i definitely would.

The place is in need of an update. The lamps are hard to turn on. There is no privacy curtain so you can’t open it to get any light in the room so you have to be clothed to even open. The lights are dingy and yellow. The wall heating and cooling unit is difficult to operate. The beds were too bouncy and the pillows are not great. The towels provided are super thin, small, and scratchy. The place just felt old and stuffy. There was hair in the bathroom and it didn’t feel clean. Like I said it’s budget but still by far not the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. Thus why I can’t give more than 3 stars. Oh and the door is hard to lock and isn’t sealed well so once closed you can see outside light from the hallway all around the door not to mention noise travels in since there is no seal. It’s in a great location with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Near Des Moines marina. Easy to get to from the airport. The staff were friendly.

ANTS INFESTED. There are ants EVERYWHERE in my room. On the desk, the sink and just crawling out of every crevasse. The overall observation is cheap and outdated. I get it, it’s an old hotel. But the owners seem to go out of the way to cheap out on every possible opportunity. The only positive experience was the maids doing a good job cleaning my room and replacing the towels.

What a Gem of a place... quaint, clean & restful. The staff was attentive & friendly. I will stay here the next time I am in the area!

At most 15 minutes from SeaTac, this cute hotel is our favorite affordable place to stay when flying out of Seattle. Clean and comfortable, there is a 4 mile trail walk along a stream that starts on the beach just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Nearby are great coffee shops and fine restaurants are a short drive away. Such a respite from the chaos of all the big hotels around SeaTac.

It was a very comfortable and quiet place to stay, perfect for a family trip.

Went here to stay and try it out after staying at the Motel 6 in Fife. Wow, what a huge difference to say the least. The hotel and room was clean, kind of smelled like Fabulosa but minus that and opening up the windows to air it out I loved the view from my the top floor. I could see the water and saw the sunset in the evening. It was so quiet and slept well. The breakfast has a belgian waffle maker that I loved and they have fruit, free yogurts, and yummy danishes plus coffee which was actually pretty good. Everything was so good, I asked to extend my night for another and I'm so glad I did. Would love here if they could reduce their rates.

Nice clean good sized rooms, with very comfortable beds! Continental breakfast. Quiet. Towels are small but soft. Close to things to do. Love that the water is walking distance. I usually stay here when I'm in town for business.

Room was big, clean and had everything I needed. Close to the airport and walking distance to restaurants, bars and the ocean. I would stay here again.
