Suburban Extended Stay Hotel Clearwater

Friends of mine were in town and picked this location because it was close to where I live. It wasn't a horrible place. A little more attention to some issues and it would be a damn good hotel.

Nice lil place I needed for emergency housing.

Stay away if you are a family or couple traveling for vacation. This is home to many in the transient community and there is a lot of drug use on the property.

If I could leave -0- stars for rooms I would. Walking in it smelled terribly of smoke and some other unpleasant smell. The beds feel like they’re going to break under you in anyway you sit/lay on them and are more uncomfortable than a cardboard box! People standing around outside smoking and being very loud, very late. Clusters of 3+ people standing outside my room door as I’m leaving/arriving. We checked in at 6pm and left by 4am and it was hands down the worst room I’ve stayed in to date. The staff checking us in had been very helpful, but stated they’ve been booked full and the only two rooms available has been floor level on one side, and third floor or the opposite side. Not ideal, but not terrible. I wish we had actively vetted the reviews and rooms before booking online though.
