Holiday Inn Clarkston - Lewiston, an IHG Hotel

We had a frustrating experience during our stay due to the motel staff’s over-eagerness to clean the room. We stepped out in the morning for a short time and had not checked out yet. It was only 9 a.m. when we returned to the room to find housekeeping in it cleaning as if we had already left. Coming back to find our space taken over was both uncomfortable and unacceptable. It felt like a complete disregard for basic guest privacy and communication. A simple check with the front desk or verifying our checkout status could have avoided the situation entirely. While I understand the intent to stay on top of cleaning, this was poorly handled and left a negative impression. Being we were part of the cruise, they arranged to pick up luggage at 8:15 so the room appears empty and maybe gave them the impression that we were out early, but it doesn't mean guests don't want a place to return to after breakfast to hangout and wait for boarding time that starts at 11:30. Guests should feel confident their room won’t be entered prematurely. Since they advertise checkout by noon, a guest should have access to the room until then unless they choose to checkout with the front desk early. If you want to avoid this happening to you, you could put the Do Not Disturb on your door but you can only do that AFTER they have picked up your bags for the boat or else they won't go in the room to get your bags.

We came back to this place, after 28 years. We spent our 3rd anniversary here, and took a jet boat ride up the Snake River. The staff here was AMAZING! The front desk clerk gave us a beautiful mini suite with a river view when she heard our story. The bartenders were wonderful and the beer ice cold. We even got a delicious full breakfast in the dining room at a great price, only $10 for us both. We will definitely try to get back soon. The pool & spa are large, and you can watch the golfers over at the driving range from your balconies. The outdoor patio has excellent seating with views. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Love the center for selling things at. Very spacious room with bathrooms and plugs for electric accessories.

This holiday Inn location is unrivaled, I have only been to a few Holiday inns, as well at working for one many years ago, but this location impressed me at every level, the decor, asthetic, cleanliness, upkeep, amenities, staff, service everything was what you would hope for when staying at a hotel. We will be back, especially because of the hotel staff and how they treat you and impact the quality of your stay. The room was very well done, somewhat minimalist, but not austere, the room was cozy, well appointed, decorated in a relaxing color palet much like the rest of the hotel and very inviting, the pillows on the bed were the perfect loft and so comfortable, the bed was lovely, it's probably the only hotel bed I have ever encountered that was actually comfortable and enabled me to wake up without pain in my back or joints. We love your location again. We will be back. Our stay was beyond wonderful.

This was home away from home for 4 decades when I came to work there or go fishing. I'll say it was always a great experience because I can't think of a bad one. Rooms are clean and the beds and bedding were always great. In house restaurant was always good, sometimes excellent. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Service was fast and friendly rooms were pretty clean and quiet. The bed was horrible you could feel the springs poke through the covering. The next day I mentioned the bed to the woman she said next time request a soft bed. Why not throw that sad little mattress out and buy comfortable beds for every room. I would stay again if the bed was softer
