15th annual Arkansas PRIDEFest

Thank you Arkansas, for supporting Central Arkansas Pride during Arkansas PRIDEFest Week. Thank you to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, and supported the LGBTQIA+ community on Capitol Avenue in Little Rock.

PRIDE is 365, creating our first Rainbow Row on Capitol Avenue with Prides, LGBTQIA+ organizers and activists from around the state, We carry the spirit of Pride in our hearts and minds across to the state.

Inspiring others to keep the “good fight” alive for our communities, where we just want to have the same right to be safe and loved. That our community is worth the long hours and dedication of this advocacy work. The countless phone calls and meetings. The rallying of resources and volunteers in a state that is the least funded and respected. We have the capacity and talent to build a better place that we call home.

Yes, we all represent an unique part of the L, G. B, T, Q, I, A, plus family with our allies. We find a way to respect our differences and recognize the strength of community. We feel the pain and fear of our beloved trans family as they are targeted daily with hate and misinformation. We see their struggles and also recognize their strength. We support you.

Pride on Capitol Avenue is to educate Arkansas, that we are a vital segment of the population. A community cultural event of peace, joy, and resilience celebrating and highlighting our arts, talents, businesses, food, and contributions.

We are hard working individuals and families celebrating life moments, like birthdays, graduations, and weddings. We are purpose driven in our talents and arts. Simply everyday Arkansans, your neighbor, colleague, friend, or family drawn to a beauty nature state like our indigenous ancestors.
