La Cita Bar

Ordered a drink before 9 and bartender told me happy hour was over. Also took more than 5 minutes to get service when there was no one else in the bar area. I just left after my 1st drink. 10 dollars for a drink with bad service is not worth staying and spending more money.

Saw the band The Rumba Madre here and it was a party!

Night club I will never return to this place. The way the staff treated us while we were waiting in line for the restroom was completely unacceptable. One staff member was yelling at everyone in a very aggressive and disrespectful manner, which made me feel uncomfortable and intimidated. I was genuinely scared by her behavior. No customer should be treated that way.

They don't allow you to buy your own drinks after 2 drinks. They are very strict, there should be a sign saying others can't buy drink for others, I had a guy offer to buy me a drink, they told the guy he was cut off so I walked away from the guy so I can buy my own drink. They told me I can't, But yet they let a guy drink at the bar for four hours drinking and they didn't cut him off.

Food isn't inside or connected to the bar itself but they have a truck in the front so you can eat before or after you the club . Service is cool sometimes they yelling like they are our mamas pero they do chill down when asked nicely to please not yell especially in spaces the music isn't loud enough to be screaming . Atmosphere is very good. I always have fun and when feeling unsafe honestly security is on it. They keep eyes open if you say something and are quick to remove danger. Drinks are prices good nothing crazy . Entrance fee is ridiculous$20 per person and then you still paying for drinks. To get there earlier so you don't have to pay the $20

Wonderful Ambiente. Unfortunately there are some „to cool“ bouncers. Guys with hats pretending to be some sort of „guys“ but the party goes harder then there egos! For the rest, it was an awesome experience. Surely I’ll be here again - depending on the „bouncers“

We stumbled in here on our way to the Red Bull Soap Box races a few blocks away. It was the middle of the day and it was slow, but we had a great time. The service was quick and they make a cheap, stiff drink. The nightlife and dance area looks fun. I'd stop back in the next time we're in DTLA.
