Hotel Genevieve and NuLu treated us well. My fiancée and I absolutely enjoyed our overnight stay and will be back. The Mini Marche allowed us to grab snacks and water after we worked out, the room was very spacious and relaxing and the hotel staff and parking crew especially Jaimi made our time there very relaxing and fun. Jaimi made unloading on check-in and loading on check-out very easy and she was so eager to help out with getting settled and stowing the car away.
Rachid was a great valet! Would definitely recommend the hotel!
Valet service was great! Jaimie was awesome! Kelsey was so kind at the front desk to my dog
Jaimi was fabulous and smooth
Jaimi did a great job. Very pleasant.
The host was super helpful and gave us good recommendations on things to do. The room was very comfy has a great view of Louisville downtown.
This was almost a perfect hotel experience, with a couple of potentially dealbreaking caveats for some guests. It is very well located with many walkable options for restaurants, bars and shopping. The Hotel itself has a fun, design-forward vibe with original art in the lobby and Art Deco inspired rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful (especially Valet, Samir). There is a mini market with good food and coffee attached. There was water waiting for us in the small fridge in our our and more free fruit infused water in the lobby (which was great, because it was very hot when we stayed there). A/C, shower pressure, and exhaust fan all worked great and the bed was very comfortable. However, the lighting in the dark-painted bathroom - probably intended to be chic and moody - was horrible! More shadows than an El Greco painting! The front desk kindly gave me a lighted makeup mirror when I asked if anything could be done, but c'mon... don't we all want good overall lighting in a bathroom? If your trip involves trying to do hair and makeup and look good for an event, this may not be the hotel for you (it's that bad!). Hopefully this will be addressed, because the hotel is great on most every other level. Our only other complaint: the $45 per day parking fee was a rude surprise, not stated at that amount on the website.
