Hotel Ruby Marie

Stayed here for one night on my husband's birthday. While the hotel didn't do anything extra (champagne, cake-things we've received at other hotels in the past on birthdays), it was still a nice stay. We booked a room on the top floor facing the lake. The bathroom was big and unique, and had a narrow whirlpool tub. The bed was super comfortable and the windows are large. The train goes by right below, and it is SO loud! It actually made us laugh, and it didn't go by when we were sleeping so didn't wake us. There was a small breakfast selection which was nice to sustain us as we were heading farther south down to St. Louis. Didn't see anyone at check out, but the check in guy was friendly. Take a walk around the hotel if you stay here, lots of cool architecture and historical items. Oh-they also give you tickets for 2 free drinks in the bar downstairs! We both had a beer then walked along the lake. Huge parking lot, no problem finding a space on a Thursday. The room did have avtv too, it's in the armoire. Would definitely stay here again.

I want to preface this review by saying that I really enjoyed my stay! Hotel Ruby Marie is a cute spot in the magnificent capitol of Wisconsin. Decor is spot on, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is super walkable. Service at the front desk was also great. My only grievances on location come from the railway; it's noisy as hell at terrible times. Their breakfast also leaves something to be desired. What's available is good, but it is very limited. Overall, I would stay again, but given the price there are absolutely better picks per dollar.

Stayed here to see a concert that was at a venue literally 2 blocks away. Perfect location. The staff is amazing !! Erica is a sweetheart who genuinely loves her job! Saturday night bartender of Up North was super kind and made great drinks. Everyone here is super friendly I recommend this hotel 10/10 !

I had a great stay at Ruby Marie Hotel. The rooms are nicely designed, and everything feels thoughtfully curated. The location is perfect, especially if you want to explore Vienna easily. A special thank you to Timo and Ivan, who truly made the experience exceptional. They were incredibly friendly and professional.

Love love love this boutique hotel, centrally located, personal touches, classically decorated rooms, connected to fantastic bars and restaurants- feels like home!

Its a cool old hotel. Been around for 150 yrs. I was hoping for haunting but no such luck. I liked the bar downstairs. Live music vocals and guitar. It was so nice. There's a continental breakfast. Hot and delicious. Quiet and you can watch the sun come up from the lake while you eat breakfast. So nice to sit in the warm sunshine There's a Cafe 2 doors down. Cheap and homemade deliciousness 😋 I will stay there again. 🥰

We absolutely loved this place! It's very clean, comfy beds, affordable, free parking within a 10 minute walk to the square, two complimentary beverages, breakfast/brunch included. My only complaint is that we arrived just shortly after 7:00, and couldn't figure out how to check in. (Saturday night). So go to the Up North Pub to get your keys if you are confused. Highly recommend!!!
