Not like typical B&b's you don't meet with anyone when you get there. They e-mail the door and room codes. The breakfast was good, but we missed the part where if you wanted eggs or waffles you needed to let them know the night before. The scones were good. I will be staying here again.

My partner and I had an incredible time staying at this B&B. We came in the winter, so it was very quiet and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Despite this, breakfast was still set up for us on New Years day. It was a usual spread of eats, but many curated from places around Madison. (We appretiated the lack of single use items.) It was clean, well kept, and a traditional Madison home with clear views of Lake Mendota. (With a massive amount of free space on the main floor for congregating.) My partner and I are from Madison and lived just a couple blocks away. It was so nice to find a place to stay so close to where our friends reside and there are plenty of places within walking distance for anything you like. If you stop in for any of the summer events, this is a wonderful spot to stay, and right off a major bus route to get toward campus. (If you stop in as a tourist, be sure to rent a bike to take the trails in Madison, they are the best I've ever ridden on in a downtown city in the US.) Definitely will be back again.

We had many close family stay at the B&B for our wedding weekend and the setting was awesome. We also used the common area for staging our wedding party before the ceremony and the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. We heard directly from each of our family members that all of the different rooms were awesome with the views of the lake and Madison!

What an amazing place! Such a beautiful view, such a beautiful garden and foliage all over the property. It is a very easy walk to State street and the Capitol building. Bob was super helpful with our reservation and check in, even though we booked last minute…literally. David and Bob put out a delicious breakfast. The waffles and homemade scones were so delicious. Thanks again we will be back.
