Moxy Madison Downtown

Bar is great. The bartenders are nice. The rooms were okay and my group experienced bed bugs in multiple rooms…We got bit and people took pictures of the bed bugs and all they could do was move us to another room…most likely bed bug infested as well.

First stay at the Moxy for us Very tiny rooms with no refrigerator. Plus side Josy took care of us! She’s amazing💕

I recently had an experience her in late January 2026. I witnessed employees interacting with 2 troublesome guests named Joan and Ivory. The two guests were acting incredibly entitled as they belittled and insulted hotel staff and mentioned that they were platinum guests or whatever exactly one hundred times. Personally, I would have lost my patience with these people, but the employees acted incredibly professional. Our service was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I pray God forgives Joan and Ivory.

Well designed facility with great upkeep. Would stay here again.

Their valet service damaged my car and refused to pay for the damages. NEVER stay at this hotel.

What a great hotel! We booked this hotel because we were in town for a show at the Sylvee, which happens to be RIGHT around the corner. How convenient! We booked a "Larger Corner 2 Queen, plus sofa bed" room. It was surprisingly roomy! Loved the industrial feel of the location. The two queen beds were separated by the bathroom so we each had our own space which I really liked. In the hallways, they have little lockers that hold any necessities that you might have forgotten to pack, which I appreciated. The property was spotless and staff was super helpful and welcoming. They have a great bar/lounge area with some games and a fireplace which felt welcoming. My only "complaint" and I use that word lightly, was the valet at check out. They only had one valet working and there were a lot of us checking out. I do understand that staffing is a problem every where, so we waited patiently. For almost 45 minutes to get our car. That was the only hiccup. I highly recommend staying here, for any reason. But especially if you happen to have tickets to a show at the Sylvee!

10/10 The Moxy was gorgeous! My husband and I came for a concert at The Sylvee, we were super impressed with the vibe and energy this hotel has. In walking distant to the things we had planned during our short stay. Would highly recommend! Everyone was so friendly! Worth the price!

Great location for downtown Madison. The hotel has two really great bars. The rooms are very very small. Valet parking is worth it and they have an app that makes things really convenient!
