My Gay Suites by My Gay Miami Beach
Many visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff, spacious and well-decorated rooms, and the enjoyable bar and sauna areas. However, some guests have expressed disappointment with management's refund policies and found the bar and sauna to be smaller than expected and closing early on weekdays.

My Gay Suites by My Gay Miami Beach, on Collins Avenue, is an aparthotel that knows its audience: LGBTQ+ travelers. They’ve built the place with them in mind.
You’ll find an outdoor pool, a spa, and a wellness center here. The rooms themselves have sleek bedding and blue accents—a clean, modern look. And yes, there’s free WiFi everywhere.
Miami Beach, of course, is a big draw for LGBTQ+ visitors, famous for its beaches and a dining scene that runs the gamut. The Art Deco District is about four miles away, a historic spot with architecture worth a look, plus galleries, shops, and places to eat. Collins Avenue puts you right near the beach and other things to do.
Since it’s an aparthotel, you get more space than a regular hotel room, with apartment-style layouts and hotel services. That’s good if you’re staying a while or just like having more room to yourself. It’s a comfortable home base, whether you’re here to relax, see the sights, or get into the local LGBTQ+ scene.

My stay was AWESOME! The front desk staff is AWESOME! Very welcoming and inviting. The bar staff was AWESOME! From check in until check out, I enjoyed this hotel ALOT! I will most definitely be back SEVERAL times!
I love the experience of being there I love the staff and the stay was a great experience will definitely say 100 out of a 100
Extremely disappointed with the management. My US Visa was denied (Section 221g), making it legally impossible for me to travel. Despite providing official proof from the Consulate, the Gaythering refuses to refund me, offering only a date change that I can never use due to this legal ban. They are keeping money for a service they know I cannot legally access. Unfair and lack of empathy for the community. I have now reopened a dispute through PayPal.
A really cute concept hotel. Not in the center of things, but you can borrow bikes for free and easily explore the area. The breakfast is not large but sufficient, the rooms are very large and spacious. Recommended.
It was our first stay at the Gaythering Hotel in Miami, and we were absolutely delighted! The rooms are charmingly decorated with witty details and are truly spacious! Even the unique shower-toilet caused quite a stir and some amusement *g* We didn't use room service—we generally don't do that in any hotel, so we're not including it in our review. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, unlike at three other hotels we stayed at on our road trip! It was the only hotel that offered cold cuts and cheese. The service at reception was friendly, attentive, and top-notch! Hotel guests can use the sauna and wellness pool free of charge. But it's much more than that; those looking for fun will certainly find it there. Two points of criticism: Parking: The booking platforms give conflicting information about this: some list parking as a feature (like ours), while others don't. The fact is, there was no parking available. All the parking spaces around the hotel are either resident parking or limited to 1-2 hours (and subject to a fee). We had to walk 20 minutes to the parking garage each time, which cost $20 per 24 hours. If you stayed longer than 24 hours, they charged $40. One morning around 4:00 AM, the fire alarm went off. And as you know, you're not supposed to use the elevator when that happens. The escape routes are clearly marked, but it's useless if the door to the escape route is locked (in this case, the door to the reception area in the hallway). We had to go to the other side of the hotel to get out. Luckily, it was a false alarm, so nothing happened. But if there had been a fire somewhere in the middle of the hotel, we wouldn't have been able to get out. This needs to be improved. That's why I unfortunately have to deduct one star.
