About this place TRADE

TRADE, on Washington Avenue, is a big gay club: 7,500 square feet, all loud sound and bright lights. It’s built for dancing. The sound system and lighting are professional-grade, no doubt, and the whole place looks current, not tired. You get the sense someone actually thought about how a club should *feel* when they designed the thing. But it’s not just for weekend club nights. They use the space for all sorts of events, which means you might find photographers or event planners there on an off-night. It’s a good setup for a dedicated gay venue that wants to do more than just open its doors. South Beach has always drawn LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a good time. TRADE fits right in. Check trademia.com for what’s on, when they’re open, and if there’s a cover. Being on Washington Avenue, you’re in the thick of it, with other bars and restaurants within stumbling distance.
