Sweet Heat Miami

SweetHeat Miami is a week of parties for queer women. It runs in mid-May, a week or so before Memorial Day weekend, and isn't tied to the holiday. Founder Myah Mustafa, who DJs as DJ Dimples, started it in May 2008, and Greater Miami's tourism board says the first edition drew over 1,000 women. By the board's count it had grown to about 40,000 by 2015. We couldn't find a more recent figure.

The format is a run of separately ticketed nights and day parties spread across South Beach, Wynwood and Downtown, including pool parties, day parties, yacht outings and themed late nights. You buy single events or an all-access pass. The tourism board listed single nights from $20 and a night pass at $225 for 2026, with ticketing on Tixr.

The 18th edition ran May 12 to 18, 2026. A 2027 ticket listing linked from the official site shows May 11 to 17, 2027, billed as year 19. The full party schedule usually comes out in the spring, so book South Beach rooms early because mid-May rates climb fast.
