YES Institute

YES Institute is a Miami-based LGBTQ+ organization running educational programs and community discussions on gender identity and sexual orientation.

This organization started small in 1996, a grassroots effort to help young LGBTQ+ people. By 2003, it had added a full education program on gender identity, building on its original mission. Now, it's a known name in the field.

Every year, the Institute runs more than 200 discussions and courses. They work with all kinds of people: parents, students, teachers, medical professionals, and other groups. These programs are all research-backed; they're meant to build understanding, give good information, and get people talking about LGBTQ+ topics.

You'll find YES Institute on Sunset Drive in Miami.
