About this place POP

POP is an LGBTQ+ bar and restaurant on West National Avenue in Walker's Point, Milwaukee's main gay district. It combines a full food and cocktail menu with a busy events calendar: drag bingo, karaoke, showtune nights and drag brunch at weekends. It fills the daytime and dinner slot on a strip otherwise dominated by late-night bars and dance clubs, and draws a mixed crowd earlier in the evening. Rated 4.5 from around 50 Google reviews. Check its social media for the weekly line-up, and book for brunch.

I very much enjoy coming here, always have a good time, live right around the block. The only con is that out of the three times my man and I have been here it’s taken 15-20 mins to get a drink. It’s very obvious we get ignored during that time, but we still end up having a good time.

The service was A1. The atmosphere was dope. I was there for a community event, a fundraiser and it was a good time. The truffle fries was dynamite.

We went for the charity bingo and it was great fun. Service was great and food was delicious. It was a little hard to hear/see the screens, as we were seated further away from the main area, but overall had a good time!!
