Front Runners New York Pride Run

The Pride Run is the yearly race put on by Front Runners New York, an LGBTQ+ running club that has been organising group runs in the city since the late 1970s. The race is held in Central Park around Pride season in June and is open to runners of any orientation and any pace; the club bills it as the largest LGBTQ+ sporting event in New York. Outside race day, Front Runners runs regular group sessions in Central Park, which is the easier way for a visitor to join in. Dates, registration and weekly run times are posted on frny.org.
