Norman Pride
About This Event
Norman Pride is the Pride weekend of Norman, Oklahoma, the University of Oklahoma's college town about 30 km south of Oklahoma City. It is run by Norman Pride, a nonprofit set up in 2018, and the board puts it on the first weekend of May so OU students can come before the semester ends.
The weekend usually opens with an evening event, then a downtown parade and a Saturday festival at Andrews Park with vendors, food trucks, live music and a big drag show. The 2024 edition was billed as the sixth annual, under the theme "Pride Not Prejudice"; 2025 ran 1 to 3 May as "Roots in Rainbows".
The 2026 weekend ran 1 to 3 May. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked. Oklahoma City's own PrideFest is a separate, bigger event in late June.
