Oklahoma PrideFest
About This Event
Oklahoma City has two prides on the same June weekend. This is the downtown one, run by the all-volunteer Oklahoma Pride Alliance at Scissortail Park since 2021. Before that, the Alliance's festival was held in the 39th Street district, where Pride on 39th still runs its own separate event.
The festival runs Friday evening to Sunday afternoon and entry is free. Paid VIP passes get you reserved seating near the Love Stage. There's a vendor market, a youth zone and health booths. The Sunday parade starts at 11am on Walker Avenue at Couch Drive in the Arts District, takes about an hour and finishes near the park.
The 2026 edition ran 26 to 28 June under the theme "Community in Bloom". It had Joy Oladokun headlining Friday, Bob the Drag Queen on Saturday and a Two-Spirit segment on opening night. Money is tight: several big sponsors pulled back in 2024 after a political social media post, and a community fundraising drive had raised only about $6,700 of its $100,000 goal by opening night. No attendance figure was published. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked, but it's usually the last weekend of June.
