South Bay Inn

Wish we could stay longer! Our family of 4 stayed in the King suite and it was absolutely perfect. Kids had their own bedroom and bath. Everything was squeaky clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more. The spaces are thoughtfully designed and the extra details, including the coffee cart open at breakfast time really set this place apart. Well worth a visit!

On Booking.com our room was called the "family suite" and on the website it was the "master king suite". Overall we loved the unit. Spacious, high ceilings, clean, not far from town, grocery store around the corner. A nice remodel. Pros: *View outside(no water access) *Hose bib available to rinse boots & clam guns *Coffee trailer on site(& good coffee. Locals go here) *2 bathrooms: 1 soaker tub and one with a smaller size shower *Kitchen was well stocked(except no sponge, I'm sure an oversight) *Door between master and trundle space for a bit of privacy or quiet if kids go to bed an adults stay up. *Trundle bed comfortable for an adult almost 6' tall *Extra throw blankets provided. A nice touch. Cons: Nothing major *Thin walls as expected in an old building. Road noise quiets down early but no so much the guy who sang in his room at 5:45 a.m. (not the inn's fault) *Shower head had very little water pressure. While it's nice to have a rain shower no way would I have been able to rinse shampoo. *Website mentions bottled water in room. Technically yes. But only 1 bottle provided for a room that sleeps 4. I'm good with tap water and there is a kitchen sink for that. *Would be nice to have an ice maker on site, especially for keeping clams cool. A BBQ station with clam cleaning station would be a huge plus in my book (sorry but LOGE spoiled me) *Rooms a little dark. No bedside/reading lamp in trundle room if you plan to read an actual book, not a phone/ipad. *The office was not open(or staffed) while we were there. Not a biggie for me. Just thought I'd mention. They did have a sign in the morning saying they were at their sister hotel across the street. Again....little stuff.......I will stay there again. For the few bucks more you pay this is still a great price and much nicer than many of the motels in town ( a few minutes away). We had 3 adults on a clamming weekend and it was only about $60 each/nt.

We had a relaxing weekend - check in was easy, short drive to the beach. Will be our new go to location in WestPort, WA

This is a review for the Double Queen room and I have stayed at this room twice in separate trips. Three things that you need to know is this room is literally less than 8 ft from the road, so you will hear all the cars passing and headlights peeking through the window. The bottom bed frame is made out of metal sheet and when you hit it, it makes a loud thunderous sound (which makes my friends and I laugh). Lastly the bathroom is tiny especially the sink and shower. Overall, the rooms are spacious with ample space, clean and has a functional kitchen that you can cook at.

Very clean room. Loved the rainshower head. Great water pressure. Had noisy neighbors the first night (loud talking & dogs), but they quieted before 10pm so it wasn't an issue. After that we heard nothing from anyone else, or traffic. That's a plus of the location. The staff was great, immediate response to any questions. Loved Westport, even during off season. It is a working fishing village so don't expect high end anything. The people were all friendly and helpful. We were able to get our quota of beach rocks, sand dollars, shells, and seafood.

Stayed just the weekend during Storms and Seafood festival. Stores in and out of town with signs for the festival were part of a fun passport search and stamp game where you filled a passport with stamps when you visited the stores/places. Each place had a special item for sale just for the festival. Hope they do it again. The motel was fab as usual!!! Do Westport soon!!

I really enjoyed the couple nights that I stayed here with my mom. We had two queen beds, which were very comfortable. The fireplace in the inside bedroom is perfect. The Inn Is really very cute and cozy. I just love the town itself and I love that there is a Dollar General down the street to walk to in case if you forget anything and there’s a grocery store close by as well for any groceries you may need. The seating area with the fire pit in the back is a huge plus because the view is amazing! It was so peaceful and relaxing. The only bad thing was that the bathroom does not have a lot of counter space if really, any at all. I would definitely come back and stay again.

This place is so cute and easy to stay at. We've stayed in two different rooms now and have enjoyed both spaces greatly. We love how clean and welcoming the rooms are, the coffee/tea set up is nice and the rooms with the kitchenette has been lovely. I love the outside sitting area and the firepit; too cold to enjoy now but i'd love to stay in the Summer to be able to enjoy these spaces more. We will absolutely stay here again :)

Not quite "in town center" but everything is within minutes. Coffee stand in the parking lot is a huge plus. I've never seen a cleaner room especially for being pet friendly! You honestly cannot tell pets stayed in the room or even on property it's so clean. They provided a pet rules handout and a pet sheet to keep dog hair off the linens in the room! My dog and I stayed in a king room and it was perfect for us and absolutely adorable. Rainfall shower head was nice, mini toiletries, plenty of towels (even a makeup towel!) and a little kitchen setup with a stove, microwave and fridge plus the Roku tv is in front of a super comfortable bed! The road noise is a bit louder than I expected and the shower doesn't have a light above it, and the bathroom provided pretty much no counter space. Not bad things just things I noticed. Had a hard time getting my code to work but luckily someone saw before I even had time to reach out and immediately got me set up and into my room. There is a huge grassy area at the end of the parking lot with a can for dog bags which was really nice. The parking lot and grassy area were also incredibly clean. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at South Bay Inn over the weekend. Laney helped accommodate an early checkin for us. We enjoyed the central location, the onsite coffee and breakfast burritos, and the area in the back to let our dog run. We will definitely be back again.

One of the coziest motels I've ever stayed in. Clean and thoughtfully remodeled. We stayed in the King suite. Beds were comfy. Two bathrooms, two TVs. Loved it. Will stay here again 🙂

My partner and I love staying here! We visit family often and being able to stay in a comfortable, clean, and safe place that is affordable is a big win. Thank you South Bay!
