About this place Toucans Tiki Lounge

Toucans is a gay bar on North Palm Canyon Drive, at the uptown end of Palm Springs, decorated in full tiki style with thatch and tropical kitsch. It draws a mixed LGBTQ+ crowd. Evenings include drag shows and dancing. Desert Magazine named it Best Gay Bar in 2013. It opens only from Thursday to Sunday, in the evening, and stays open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. It is a drive or rideshare from the Arenas Road bars downtown. Check the website for the week's shows.

Toucans was the absolute highlight of our bachelorette trip! We went for a drag show and drinks, and the energy in the room was amazing from start to finish. The performers were incredibly talented, funny, and engaging, keeping everyone in our group entertained the entire time. The drinks were well-made, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively without ever feeling chaotic. The crowd was fun and welcoming, which made the night feel even more special. Our whole group had an unforgettable time, and we’d definitely recommend Toucans to anyone visiting Palm Springs looking for a high-energy, fun night out!
