Q Center

The Q Center is Oregon's statewide LGBTQ+ community centre — the primary institutional home of the queer community's organised life in Portland and across the state. Located on N Mississippi Avenue in North Portland, the Centre provides social services, community meeting space, advocacy and resource programming, events, and the full range of community centre functions that are essential to a functioning LGBTQ+ community infrastructure. The N Mississippi Avenue location places Q Center in a neighbourhood that has become one of Portland's most interesting commercial corridors: N Mississippi is lined with independent restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and design studios in a stretch that reflects Portland's general aesthetic of independent commerce and deliberate neighbourhood identity.
