About this place Darcelle XV – Female Impersonators

Darcelle XV – Female Impersonators is an entertainment landmark in Portland's LGBTQ+ scene, bringing glamorous female impersonation performances to audiences since 1967. Located in Northwest Portland, the venue hosts a nightly revue Wednesday through Saturday, featuring the artistry and showmanship that have made this venue a local institution for decades. The performances are emceed by Darcelle XV herself, the grande dame who founded the show and continues to be the heart of the experience. Visitors can expect a glitzy, high-energy entertainment experience centered on female impersonation as an art form. This is the kind of venue where you'll find celebration of performance, costume, and theatrical talent in a setting designed for fun and spectacle. The revue format means you'll enjoy a full evening of acts rather than a single performance, making it a substantive night out. The fact that this venue has thrived for over five decades speaks to both its quality and its significance within Portland's entertainment culture. The venue welcomes LGBTQ+ travelers and allies looking for authentic, established entertainment with real local roots. If you're interested in drag performance, cabaret-style shows, or simply want to experience a piece of Portland's queer cultural history, this is a must-visit destination. Performances run nightly Wednesday through Saturday, so plan accordingly if you're visiting midweek or want to ensure you catch a show during your stay.

This place was smaller than expected but it gives this intimate experience with the performers. They came and talked with us before and after the show. I brought my whole family and we all had a fantastic time! We literally had fun and laughed as soon as we arrived. Must see! This was a fantastic show!!!! Beautiful Queens! Thank you for all the laughs! Much love!!!! Xoxoxo

Campy fun, deep belly- out loud laughter, queer inspiration and inclusion- real people who uplift spirits... go, -see the performers, hear the music, taste the food, have some drinks and some laughs, bring some dollars to give to the Queens 👸 there's a lot of things you could do or not do or a Sunday- Drag Brunch is a definite should do. You will leave happy and so glad you shared space with these fun people. For real. 🌈 🏳️‍🌈 🌟 🤩 ⭐️
