This hotel is super eclectic, and one of a kind. I love these old restored buildings that show the ages of time. If you bring a vehicle, be sure to purchase your parking ahead of time. The rooftop at night is really awesome, and a huge reason of why I will be coming back. Walking around the city, you get a real good feel for the Portlandia way of life.

Great place to crash in Portland for a few nights. The staff are responsive and answer questions fast. The rooms are pretty good with solid doors and updated in an old building. The location is very convenient, but the vagrant, drug affected individuals roaming the streets make it a bit unsafe. In spite of the wretched street urchins, the hotel takes security seriously and one should feel reassured as a guest there.

the beds in the bunk room are soft and spacious compared to other hostels. However the room can get hot at night with not enough cool air flowing. And also was hoping for some more white noise like a fan blowing or something to cover up every little noise I make. But it's still one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in!

This is my go to coffee shop in my area, great rooftop deck and chill seating on the ground floor

What a great stay for a fair price. The lobby is funky, chic and stylish, with delicious well-priced food and drinks. The rooftop views are spectacular. Great vibes here, and the staff is across-the-board wonderful. The private room is tiny but cozy; it has a sink and mirror, which is very helpful. I was initially hesitant about the shared bathrooms, but they are private and spotlessly clean. There’s an affordable parking garage only a few blocks away. If you want to stay in Old Town in style for cheap, this is the spot!
